when I fell in love with marc

While in Italy two summers ago I had the chance to watch the only documentary ever done on Marc Jacobs (or so I was told) that focused on not only him as a designer but as creative director of Louis Vuitton. The film is ahhmazing giving such insight into the way a designer can work on two different brands that are so different at the same time. I attest that time in class to the moment I fell in love with him!I own one thing Marc Jacobs, a pair of amazing platforms that I wear on repeat in the summer. I got them at DSW on mega mega mega sale and never looked back. Today is Marcs birthday and he is 50, what?! His designs are still so young and fresh its crazy it's so great. I almost just said and he's so old...ops!So with him in mind I am going to throw on a fun pattern or two because it seems very him, and maybe a little mouse to top it off...hah!
