outfit: phillip lim X target
Skirt: Phillip Lim X Target // Sweater: Vince // Shoes: Converse // Monogram//
Recently I have really been into sweaters thrown over skirts and dresses..well really over anything. Something about the cooler weather makes me never want to wear anything tight ever again and only wear sweaters. Why is that? Do you get like that? It is because once its cooler we eat more? That is a thing right? Because I am definitely eating more.
Second side note// honestly I cannot get over my hair in these pictures. No, not because I am obsessed with myself thank you, but because last week I had a serious hair fiasco. You may recall my tweet "thinking of dying my hair Alicia Lund red, thoughts?" from last Monday. She even responded something along the lines of "do it you can always dye it back change is fun!" which 100% gave me the confidence to do, right? I mean coming from your inspiration how can you not pull the trigger in your bathroom with old Greys Anatomy episodes and wine? So we did...and I got patchy hair. Like no joke patches, looked like an animal patches. I have never done so much research on hair removal, texted so many random people and been so annoyed that you need a stinking consultation to get your hair dyed color corrected. So after my kind friend Liza responded to me with "are your freaking kidding me emily" after I told you I had come to the conclusion [thanks to the interwebs] that the only way not be a patchy animal anymore was to wash my hair in hot oil....I bought the "oops color removal" (while I swear Mary pretended like she did not know the patchy haired girl in CVS). Well I am here to tell you the "oops color corrector" does not 100% work but it gets the patches out. And I have got to say I am pretty happy with this new "stripped" color whatever it may be. Why did I share this story? Because it's embarrassing...meh whatever I am honest and that was my week last week which is also probably the reason I barely had any posts...whoops sorry!
So this post is a little random, but I love this Phillip Lim X Target skirt, its super comfy and flowy and you should try it if you haven't already, because honestly half the country already ones a piece from this killer collaboration. I also just realized this entire post would be 10 times funnier if I had gotten this skirt from the line instead.
