I have always loved this look, pinned it, swooned over cool girls who wore it and finally got up the 'I can totes pull this off' courage and wore it. Call me preppy now peeps! My next tied around the waist look may include using a jean jacket, much more practical to the original reason of tying something around your waist...to be able to easily put it on and off depending on the changing climate of AC vs heat cold vs heater. 
Also I'm confused, in this last picture my hair looks like it did pre-die job...aka not brunette and more reddish/dirt blonde...looks like it's still there in the light!
