Alyssa Torrech Photography While in Houston early this month I finally got to go into an Ann Mashburn store! I had originally heard about her and her husband in a Matchbook Magazine article a few years ago and fell in love with their story and classic style. {For those of you who aren't familiar with the duo- they both used to work and design for brands like J.Crew and Ralph Lauren until they decided to move about to GA and start their own line!}  Although I have a novelty midi skirt I was still on the hunt for a classic solid one when I went shopping that fateful afternoon. The skirt comes in a few colors and I also got the linen/gauzy version in a white&taupe striped that you have seen on my instagram! I have been wearing this navy one non-stop...with tee shirts, oxfords, blouses all of it!
