outfit: new colors

Yellow was a color I NEVER wore, like multiple people have told me I shouldn't...so kind I know ;)! I stumbled upon this dress and was so in love with the shape, fabric and details that the fact that it was straight up mustard yellow didn't phase me. Thankfully the people who have seen it on me didn't agree with my normal no yellow rule! Also when I say stumbled upon, a family friends daughter is starting a little resale shop and was selling this for $40!

This Summer is full of 3 weddings for 3 of my dearest friends...but also full of needing a lot of different dresses for occasions that are going to involve the same people. AKA I cannot wear the same thing to every event because photos will be taken and everything is within weeks of each other!

'Little cocktail-y dresses' are not something I have a ton of like a lot of women so I have been on the hunt for great deals (like my self portrait dress) for a few months. With that I also want to get out of my comfort zone a little....hence the mustard yellow dress above haha. Below are some more mustard yellow dresses!
