I snagged this dress from the killer Bloomingdales sale going on right now and it is still out there for y'all! The print is a little funkier than I usually wear (the top version is super cute too with leather detailing) but what is the fun in staying inside your comfort zone when it comes to dressing?  I think the black cap sleeves sold me because it brings the dress together a little bit and makes it less busy...and makes the entire dress a little more casual being it in a tee shirt cut. The sleeves also hold my favorite part of the dress... the  black opaque chiffon stripe that is in-between the the silk sleeve and the body of the dress, giving it a subtle hint of playfulness.

Right now a must have criteria I have  for dresses and skirts are 'can they be worn with tights?'...it makes the transition into fall and winter so much easier if you can wear it now and then wear it again a few months later in a completely new way and feel like you've never worn it before! At this fabulous sale I also picked up a Rebecca Taylor skirt that I had my eye on for quite some time now, and cannot wear to put on when fall comes into full swing!
