outfit: dressing down the dressy dress

This Ulla Johnson dress is probably one of the "prettiest" pieces I own! Besides being obsessed with everything Ulla Johnson in general, the raw hem on this silk dress makes it something special. It is definitely is a "dressy dress" though which has made it's number of wears low. I have always wanted to figure out more ways to wear this so called dressy dress and finally found a way.

STOP OVER THINKING IT, just wear the dressy dress with sandals and be done!!

Dressy Dresses are hard because in your mind you categorize them 'can only be worn for a dressy event' but that doesn't have to be the case. This is especially easy when the dress is flowy like this one. Half the time the dress is dressier than you think it is; and you should really be wearing it to brunch this weekend! Ulla Johnson is definitely on the pricer side but always keep your eyes out for sales because a lot of websites carry her and are always having a sale!
