J is for Jenny right?
Ok we all know and love her..that Leandra Medine and from this mornings instagram you have learned that I am currently reading her book. Well what came as a "I read her blog every once in a while" is now a full fledged obsession. It has even resulted into me texting Mary Logan "man repeller and I had the same childghood"...Emily no. Well not 100% no, she did attend Jewish Day School and not really fit in was cool but different, wore clothes others did not understand to cool older college parties in HS, hated her knee length skirts and paired them with crop tops.
I also attended Jewish Day School were I did not fit in and also wore the completely wrong thing to Bat Mitzvahs for a whole year of BM season (that's about every weekend for a year) and did not understand why Juicy sweat suits were a thing and asked my mom to UN-hem my skirts because I felt they were too short...so there are some slight differences in our stories clearly but the root of them is the same: being too cool for Jewish Day School.DUH.
So you just learned a little bit about me...I did not know what Juicy was and at one point even asked a girl named Jenny where she got a track jacket with her initial on the zipper. Oh how far I have come.
Who was middle school you?
