Literally the first place we went when my dad picked me up was to Whataburger with my [not so] little brother. It was heavenly per usual. 

First stop on the 'Emily's favorite places to eat in Houston' tour was Tiny Boxwoods. Their staple top secret white wine mojittos are the BEST. My parents are friends with the owner/chef and he will not tell my mom how they are made...I plan on trying to recreate!

My girlfriend from HS works at the new and beautiful Biscuit Home store. I wanted everything and had to practically be kicked out I was hanging around so long planning my bedroom.

Mexican Coke & macarons before chopping my hair into a lob. 

Day two started at Local Foods..they always do cold soup so well!

Snagged this adorable top from Banana Republic (it's on sale!) to wear for wine night with the family at my dads wine club.

Every Saturday morning since I can remember my parents have gotten Shipley's donuts and kolaches. If you don't know what kolaches are first off, I am sorry for your taste buds but secondly they are a Polish fluffy, semi-sweet bread with cheese and sausage in the middle. It is the best tradition and all my friends growing up knew to only sleep over on Friday nights.

Up close and personal with the California Connection sandwich at Central Market. A concept grocery stop I could and have many of times spent hours and hours at. 

A pre- night out with old girl friends snow cone. I sadly don't have any pictures from that but if you follow me on snapchap (emlun) you saw a few pictures and videos. We went to La Grange, a new Mexican place that was so fun... if you are in Houston you should try it out!
