Beauty Round-Up
1. NARS multiple stick in 'hot sand' - This color-way from NARS is amazing, it is shimmery and light with enough peach in it to be more then just a highlighter. I got it because I was finding all of my blushes to be far too pink on days that I contour. The bright pinks and the deep brown just don't mix as well and I needed something with more peach in it to give a little color and compliment the contour.2. Sara Happ Nude Slip- I talked about this a little in Friday's link round up but it's just too good not to mention again. At first I was intimidated when my friend handed it to me, "no, I think that is too brown I will look like a Kardashian" I said, and boy was I wrong. My, and probably yours, lips are a lot "browner" than I thought and it is the perfect daily color.3. White Finishing Powder - A lot of makeup brands have a version of this and it is my new not so secret weapon. Any day I am feeling oily or overly moisturized, I finish off with this white translucent powder. It gives a matte, super soft finish that lasts all day.4. Armani Color Corrector- When my makeup guy told me he used this on a woman who fell down the stairs I was sold. Don't ask me specifics but the color of this cancels out blue and and BAM the blue is reduced!4. Stippling Brush- The same makeup guy also taught me a trick with this brush, which is also happens to be great for applying the finishing powder as well. So anytime you feel like you went heavy handed on blush or contour (or it is just not blending as well that day); take this brush and dab the ends in a little foundation, then lightly sweep it across your cheeks moving back and up. This help to tone it down and blend it...it works and it soooo easy to do!5. Fluffy Eye Shadow Brush - Being someone that doesn't use eye shadow the phrase "just use some eye shadow brush you already have" didn't fully apply to me but it probably does to you. This brush can be used to help blend your under eye concealer on those days you didn't sleep and the bags are just down to your cheek bone .Hope you liked this new beauty buys and tricks series, let me know!
